Bless The Lord (Part 4)

Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies.         Psalm 103:4

This is part 4 of a series of short lectures, or mini sermons on the great passages from the Word of God, Bless the Lord. l will attempt to break the verse of Psalm 103:4 down best of my ability.  l am just a man, so I  can never do the wonderful words of God any justice in doing so, but will do my utmost best and l pray it will please our Lord God.

'Who redeemeth thy life from destruction'.
Number 1 - If you are a saved born again Biblical Christian (John 3:3), you are... Number 2 - redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ (Hebrews 9:12)... Number 3 - you are cleansed by the blood of Christ (1 Peter 1:18-19, 1 John 1:7)...  Number 4 - you are saved from hell and destruction and will not see condemnation (John 3:18, 5:24, 6:47).

I suggest those of you who do not understand these things, please do look them up, plus the extra verses in your concordance in back of your Bible.  Put them together.  See how they apply to each other and which verses don't.  Read and study them and be purged by the Word of the Lord. Don't take 1 verse out of context, but rightly divide the word of God (2 Timothy 2:15).

'Who crowneth thee with lovingkindness...'
Isaiah 63:7; Psalm 26:3; Psalm 36:7,10; Psalm 40:11, Psalm 107:43, Psalm 138:2 - Then we have 'and tender mercies...'
Psalm 51:1; Psalm 69:16, James 5:11, Psalm 119:77,156; Psalm 145:8-9 - These are but a few verses to show the Lord's lovingkindness and mercy which are actually gifts to us.  Because without His grace, mercy, love for us, lovingkindness, goodness, holiness, righteousness,  glory He shows us each day, salvation, abundance of life He gives to us each day, we would be destitute of all these things.  We would be lost and on the way to hell. But, He gives us more than what we all deserve. I challenge you to look up these verses and others that apply.  Study them and see how they apply to your life. Be challenged to do something for the Lord instead of being a vagrant, violating His Word and slandering Him for all He has done for you. I could be here for hours doing this, but time limits me.  If l did do this, this would be a book and that is the truth. I just want to make this short so YOU will do something, and you will be surprised what you will come up with if you study on your own.

God has given to us all, the wicked included, we need to live.  Yes, He gives some more than others, some less, some even lesser.  But all in all, the LORD is good always and give us the miracle of life, an extra breath. Long live our Lord forever and forever, and blessed be His holy name.

Be blessed by the Lord and read.  Apply yourself, study, and absorb it.  If you are not saved, you will go to hell. Studying the Word of God is useless to you as you will never truly understand the Bible in any way. To have any understanding of God's Word you must be saved, otherwise study for you is useless.

I leave you with these verses to look up in case you are not saved so that YOU can get a grasp on the Word of God.  These will make you know how to be saved and prevent Him from casting you into the lake of fire and hell.

Read: John 3:1-18; Acts 16:31; Romans 3:23, 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 10:9-13; 1 John 5:10-13.
